With three generations of farming knowledge and expertise, it's good to know we use minimal antibiotics, fertilizers and herbicides when caring for our animals and keeping our farmland healthy. Our 130 acre farm comprises 250 Lleyn ewes, 25 Aberdeen Angus cattle, 250 pigs and 70 free range laying hens, all are well suited to life on the Pennine hills

Llyen sheep, originally from the Welsh Lleyn Peninsula, are excellent upland grazing sheep, quiet in nature and have great maternal instincts making lambing time easier.

Aberdeen Angus are a small, hardy breed of cattle, able to withstand the harsh weather conditions we sometimes experience. Their size means they are easier to handle and are kinder to the land than larger breeds of cattle.
